My name is Stephanie Toth, and I am a recent graduate of the Master of Publishing program at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC. I previously completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Writing at the University of Victoria, where I also studied Art History and Linguistics.
I came to publishing via the University of Victoria’s undergraduate literary journal This Side of West. I was on staff there for three years and fell in love with the process of connecting with new voices and lifting them up. My background in writing would have positioned me neatly for a career in editorial work, but I decided to pursue my lifelong interest in design instead.
